There are so many fun fall activities that we want to do each year. It can be hard to fit them all into our schedule. We understand that it’s hard to believe that fall is just around the corner but unfortunately, as Floridians we won't get to experience the cool nights and crisp leaves (unless you live out of Florida than lucky you!) But at least we can still eat all things pumpkin right?
To make the most of the fall season check out these fall activities that will be fun for the whole family.
1. Pick Apples
Find a friend with an apple tree or a pick your own farm and plan a family apple picking outing.
2. Make a Pie
One of my favorite things about fall is all of the baking. There are so many kinds of pies, what will you make?
3. Drink Hot Chocolate
There are so many different flavors of hot chocolate, we just might have to create a hot chocolate bucket list.
4. Take Family Photos
We love fall family photos! The brightly colored leaves make a great backdrop and We love the look that boots and scarves add to the pictures. You just need to find the right places!
5. Play in the leaves
Fall is the perfect season for toddlers and young children. Playing in the crunchy leaves can provide hours of fun for the whole family. I don’t think we will ever be too old to enjoy crunching leaves.
6. Go to a Pumpkin Patch
Visiting a pumpkin patch is so much more fun than getting your pumpkins at a grocery store. Many pumpkin patches also have other fall activities.
7. Visit a Corn Maze
There are a lot of family-friendly Corn Mazes, as well as haunted corn mazes for more adventurous members of the family.
8. Read a book
Fall weather especially cold rainy days makes me want to cuddle up with a blanket and read a good book. We suggest reading a Stephen King book or short stories by Edgar Allen Poe to get ou into the autumn feels.
9. Carve Pumpkins
Nothing is more fall than carving pumpkins!
10. Take a Drive
Drive around and look at the beautiful fall colors. This fall I can’t wait to go find some covered bridges once the leaves change colors.
11. Have Dinner in a Pumpkin
Dinner in a pumpkin is a fun holiday tradition to start.
12. Bake Together
13. Go to a Haunted House
14. Go on a Weekend Getaway
Plan a spontaneous weekend getaway and go enjoy the cool weather and changing leaf colors in a place you've never been to before. We want you to explore new places!

If you really want to get into Halloween try making a DIY costume.
